Kristen recently completed this large glass mural inside a home in Hilton Head Plantation. Her client requested a Hilton Head mural with elements and landmarks that represented Hilton Head the most.

Kristen & Dennis participated in the second annual Thrift Store Flip, where 100% of the proceeds go to the care for individuals and families provided by Hospice Care of the Lowcountry. They transformed an old picture frame into a coastal themed chalkboard wall hanger with starfish key hooks. It was an amazing event, and Kristen & Dennis' piece sold!

Kristen was honored to be a part of the 8th annual gala for A Dancers’ Dreams on November 9th, 2018, hosted by Dance Boosters of Bluffton, Inc. She donated her artwork "Sea Turtle on wood" to the silent auction. The proceeds benefited the dancers by providing nationally known choreographers and instructors, summer Intensive programs, enriching the dancers’ talent and technical training and support their efforts in competing nationally.
Dance Boosters of Bluffton, Inc. is a non-profit organization that supports and fosters the training of 94 members of Bluffton School of Dance Company program. The Company dancers range in age from five to eighteen. The dancers have showcased their talent at performances throughout the community and have earned national recognition at competitions. The Company alumni span the country dancing with esteemed dance companies and schools. I was so happy to participate in this fun and fabulous silent auction that was hosted by Hospice Care of the Lowcountry.
Here was the premise: Individuals picked up an item or piece of furniture at one of the many local thrift stores. They unleashed their creativity and completely transformed it into something creative and new. All participants donated their creations to the silent auction which benefited the programs of care offered by Hospice Care of the Lowcountry. Here was my creation. A gorgeous, but older and scratched up, Ethan Allen coffee table . Stripped and stained, iron legs repainted, and a final lowcountry masterpiece painted on the top. Last photo is the table in the winning bidders home! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Kristen will be at LagerHead Tavern on Nov. 7th from 4-7 and she is bringing her studio with her! She will be personalizing her hand painted pieces for your family. They make such great gifts!
![]() "Hilton Head Preparatory School’s Festival of Trees is one of Hilton Head Island’s largest holiday-themed festivals, running from November 16, 2017 through November 30, 2017. Over 1,000 people attend this event each year. The 2017 FOT’s will once again be held at the Sonesta Resort, located at 130 Shipyard Drive, in Shipyard Plantation. The trees, a spectacular display of beautifully and creatively-themed Christmas trees in all sizes and colors, are sponsored and decorated by local organizations, businesses, and individuals. Themes range from the traditional to the whimsical to the humorous." I loved attending this event last year! I wanted to go again! ....and decided to donate a Painterly Tree. Once, I had the design and layout in my head, I became overjoyed in all the tree brought out in me! It consisted of 12 small easel canvas ornaments you can buy or special order here!
